The actor, who returned as J.R. in a new edition of Dallas this year, had a long history of health problems and died Friday due to complications from his battle with cancer, his family said.
One of the early episodes was fairly funny. Jock, JR, Bobby, and Ray went on a hunting trip and got jumped in a tavern by some locals that Jock had ripped off when he was younger. The other three went at the locals man-to-man but JR just sat there and did nothing until a loacl got too cloes to him. Then he smashed hin over the head with a beer mug. Typical JR being a dirty little weasel on all levels.(sorry, mobile posting turns my spleling into Zipeprfich)
not many could wear that hat
'Genie' sure weathered the storms of time a hell of a lot better than 'Major Nelson' did tho.
