Canadian consumers could wind up paying $12 billion in higher fuel charges in 2011 if soaring gas prices stay in place for the rest of the year, according to a new report released Monday.
Good stuff. It will reduce gasoline consumption and drive people to smaller vehciles and transit. It's all good except that the profits just flow to the oil companies. The govt need to step in here and get a piece of that action, they could use it to lower other taxes.
My little Japanese minitruck is sidelined while I hunt down a radiator and I had to grab an F250 with a 460V8 for work. Instead of $30 every 10 days, it costs me $92 every three days. Arggh.
The same as any other vehicle. You'll pay more to fill the tank. I don't get the question.
It's sarcasm Andy... I know a 7.3 will have shitty fuel economy.
Relative to your vehicle's capacity, it shouldn't be all that bad. Just comes down to whether you need all that hauling power.
10-20% of the time in the immediate future, but within the next year or 2 50% of the time it will be used for actual truck shit, so I want one with what I already know is a reliable engine. I actually have a very short commute to work, so it shouldn't be too bad.
But at the end of it all, I was just trying to crack a joke.

No jobber model available at your local auto parts store? Are they a unique thing in some way?
"Hey we're raking it in with the gas tax."
"Yeah, maybe we should lower the other taxes to make up for it."
[stunned silence]
Yeah, that's just what they'll do. I can just see it now...

I thought that's what Harper is all about. He's no tax and spend Fiberal you know. Good, honest politician who looks out for the middle class.
hmm, I wonder how well a 2003 ford with the 7.3L diesel will handle increased fuel prices...

You don't believe there was a recession Spr?
Hmm
Yeah well some of us certainly felt it and still do, so we certainly believe in it's comforting presence...
Gotta read carefully: No recession for .
More and more business year in, year out.
