The owner of an unusual Edmonton store is scratching his head after two men broke in earlier this week to steal things. Why break in, the owner asks, when everything in the store is free?
Probably to keep homeless people and drug users from squatting and reckless teenage vandals from trashing the place. Plus, I imagine there must be some things of value in there that aren't part of the merchandise, like the store's own office equipment.
A better question.. if everything is free, why lock the door?
What is IN the store might be free, but the store itself is not.
It is not some shelter.
