TORONTO -- A licensed B.C. pot grower was in Toronto yesterday trying to take a bite out of Health Canada's monopoly on medicinal marijuana.

    I remember having a good laugh about a year ago. I heard on the radio that there was a study that discovered that patients that use marijuana as a pain killer claim to have longer and more frequent periods of chronic pain than other patients that don't smoke marijuana.

    I suppose you figure that unsupported anecdotal hearsay is a valid justification for telling others which pain medication they should choose. And that they should just stick with the known to be lethal but proven treatments like OxyContin over their preferred treatment which has never killed anyone.

    Really? I heard a guy on the radio claim he was abducted by aliens. Clearly, it's true...otherwise it wouldn't be on the radio. Kind of like the internet.
