HAMILTON, Ont. - The basement of a home where two boys were found living in squalor was a "disturbing" scene that reeked so badly of urine and feces that officers had a difficult time breathing and even seeing, Hamilton police said Thursday.
I could never, can't and never will understand that people can treat their children that way. I never had to make that choice but I think that I would have starved myself to give my son what he needed. It's not all that hard. All they really need are the necessities of life, love and education (including passing them your values). I guess when you didn't get any of these when you were young, it's harder to pass them on.
