Considering this didnt happen in Canadian Waters, whats the big deal? This makes no sense at all, because as long as those ships follow the rules inside our waters there isnt anything we can do once they leave our waters. I think the CBC is trying to show their favoritism for the left again!!!

It always is isn't it? Doesn't matter what the news story is. If it in anyway shows Harper and the cons in a bad light its either not news or left wing media bias.

This is a non-story to begin with, the only ones who care to print it though are the CBC, but only because their masters from the LPC told them to.

Derb what would be the purpose of holding off the report? It's not like the Consrvatives had anything to loose by this report going public. It sounds more more like a mix up to me.

.............. huh? Well i don't about any other stories in particular but this one really doesn't seem to serve any purpose in my mind. The CBC is reporting on a report that was suposidly surpressed by the PMO even though everyone involved has stated publicly that it was just a misunderstanding. If the CBC wants to some how prove otherwise where is the evidence? Where's the motive? What purpose would it have served to not release the report. What diffrence would it have made?

It was common knowalge at the time that there was a black out on Government releases of information for the purpose of the election. That's not an uncommon thing.



Why would they quash it until after the campaign? I don't think it was even suggested by the PMO that the report should be quashed. Are there any emails from the PMO to that effect? I might even bite into this if there was but all the CBC has is an email from an underling. Even in Massons own words:

Again thought it still seems that no matter what gets reported about Harper they claim the same old story of left wing bias. They do so because then whenever the press reports something bad they can simply point and say "its a media campaign against them".

Political interference of any sort in the transportation authorities cannot be tolerated. People's lives are at stake. Whether it was one person or a hundred that died, the PMO, no matter who occupies it, should not be obstructing the release of such reports.

Thats not the PMO, like I said it's just some underling. Is that the best the CBC can do?
