I think that we deserve to know how much the war is costing us. There is no reason to keep it a secret except to cover Harper's incompetent ass anyway.

What incompetence? What ever money was spent on the war was obviously needed. Let's not forget how our soldiers got to Afghanistan.

Oh, I wanna know the whole cost, from start to finish, Riden. I was against it when Chretien got us involved, I was against it when Martin stepped it up, and I'm still against it. Not being he one who started it is no excuse for keeping the costs hidden though. Keeping those costs hidden is political cowardice, excusing it is even worse.
