Google's race to space got underway Thursday with the first team ï¿½ Odyssey Moon, a private enterprise based in the Isle of Man and backed by Canada's MDA Ltd. ï¿½ announcing its candidacy for the search company's $30-million US Lunar X prize.

One question: How much will it cost to get to the moon?
I assume it will be a whole lot more than 30 million!

Not for the Canadian team, remember, they don't need to weld, rivet, etc anything as they'll be handy enough to use duck tape!

i thought that everytime we sent a rocket out of our atmosphere, we damage it too much to just be going in and out...
