And that is why every "zoo" needs to close. Keeping a roaming animal like a Lion in that tiny cage is torture, not 'research' or 'preservation'.

I just can�t understand how individuals are allowed to own large predators in these grotesque private �zoos�. It should just be illegal. Every one of those owners in Tiger King was a loonie. Unfortunately, real zoos may soon be the only safe place for most large cats, given the way their natural habitat is being destroyed. We are a plague on the planet.

If real zoos are the answer, it must have been a really cruel question.
