Lawmakers rejected Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit deal for a third time on Friday, sounding its probable death knell and leaving Britain's withdrawal from the European Union in turmoil on the very day it was supposed to leave the bloc.

These bumps of last chance delay ultimatums are starting to remind of this one from South Park:

    The Brexit is being betrayed.

So has she stepped down yet like she promised? Britain needed a real leader to get Brexit done but, instead they got the female version of Neville Chamberlain. A twit willing to appease everybody except the ones who were in the majority on the vote.

May lied about stepping down. Political power is her crack.

I wanna see if Trainwreck 2019 can make it to the station. You can't change Horsemen mid-apocalypse.

The solution (or the closest thing to one) to taking down the globalists is too simple.

Vote UKIP. It'll do till something better comes along. At least the majority of those who voted to Brexit will have their votes counted so they count.

After voting cut off their nose to spite their face with Brexit, it looks like theyre going to just go ahead and cut off their whole face.

At least itll be possible to afford to visit England after their economy takes the biggest nosedive in the history of ever.

    Hmmm...

Why did this song suddenly pop into my head?

"Got along without you before I met you. Gonna get along without you now."

A Clash song is more appropriate IMO.

If I stay there will be trouble.....if I go there will be double.

edit: I'm home on my PC

I know this is a veritable meme on the left but how do you really figure the British economy will tank just because they'll have local control again?

There will be adjustments, certainly, but most of those adjustments are going to involve British firms bringing their operations back to the UK from the places in the EU they outsourced them to at a cost of jobs in the UK.

Also, the UK will be free to exercise significant tax advantages over their EU competitors.

The reestablishment of a hard border between the UK & EU is going to cause a major problem for starters. Britain has gotten used to not having to deal with customs for a while now and that is going to hurt a lot. That alone is going to have knock on effects all through the British economy.

Also, businesses and industry cant just pack up overnight and move back to merry old England. And if by some chance they could, why would they?

You have to be pretty damn naive if you think any corporation has a territorial 'home'.

Each and every corporation involved is going to do cost analysis, not nationality analysis.

They are loyal to currency, and sweet fuck all else, least of all lines on a piece of paper.

Also, the UK will be free to exercise significant tax advantages over their EU competitors.

The tax advantages required to replicate a consumer base difference of this size are currently impossible. UK would have had to have their pre-Brexit tax rates at equal to EU's (if not higher) prior to leaving. As of now, their tax rate is already lower than most of EU, so if business' weren't already moving, their not going to when UK drops it a few points further, and EU retaliates.

This was not a well thought out Brexit.

The only sensible thing is to cancel Brexit until they have a proper plan and a proper mandate.

Why are none of these confidence votes. These dudes need a general election!
