William Shatner claims women using MeToo movement as �weapon�

Right you are Captain Kirk. The movement has been hijacked by women whose hatred of men - all men - is unbounded.

The question is this: How can it be stopped?

When confronted by one of these foul accusations the correct response is anger and outrage.

I say that because the left doesn't appreciate a rational response to irrational accusations. They only understand anger and outrage.

So if you're angry and outraged at an accusation then you MUST be the victim.

Although, I honestly don't think the movement was hijacked per se. I think this was it's ultimate goal all along and these "feminists" just duped the non man hating women into doing their bidding without thinking of the ramifications to society.

Easy. When the accusations turn out to be completely fabricated, you sentence the accuser to the same sentence you would if the accused was actually guilty. You also make the accuser pay all legal costs of the wrongly accused. Obviously this wouldn't apply in genuine cases of mistaken identity, it would only apply when an entirely false claim is made.
Let the feminazis know there will be serious repercussions for them if they insist on fucking with people's lives.

I agree, except that's pretty much as difficult to prove as many of these accusations.

This is verging way too much into "all women are liars" territory, which is wrong given how many credible accusations have been made against the likes of Harvey Weinstein by multiple victims whose stories have all shown a distinct pattern in his predatory behaviour. None of this should be written off just because the older generation has a much looser idea of what constitutes assault, intimidation, and coercion than the newer generation has. The law is the law and it shouldn't be subject to some sort of "back in my day the whores were much tougher than they are now" mentality that exists among too many men, both the young ones and the old fossils like Bill Shatner.

Why, out of all the crimes out there, is this the one where the accused isn't just given the assumption of innocence going into a trial but also the one where anyone making any accusation at all is assumed to be lying either for monetary benefit or because they're mentally/emotionally unbalanced? You don't see mugging victims getting treated this way by the comment section inhabitants the same way that women who have been attacked generally are. I'll also not that the 'pffft big deal, get over it honey" response to these women's stories most commonly comes from those who are convinced by default that every single Muslim male is a rapist, either active right now or waiting to strike. How come the white guys in the power suits are getting a pass from the unwashed mob for something that the exact same commenters want every single Muslim strung up from the lamp-posts for doing?

You answered you own question. Accusation do not a crime make and until the younger generation changes the laws to suit their moving of the goal posts, the rule of law will remain blind.

So, all the people who hate old white guys will have to get off their ass or out of their moms basements and just go for it. Then, when they get their wish and the laws are changed to make people who are accused of a crime automatically guilty they'll have their wish which is obviously to create a dystopian society. Although, there's a downside to this dream and that's when you change a law like innocent till proven guilty to guilty if accused there's always alot more innocent people than guilty who are swept up into the abyss and the system almost always comes around to devour it's creators. Just ask the Soviets.

Of course, they could always just change the current law to state that it's only "old white guys" who are guilty if accused but, that might not work out to well either given that alot of these champions of feminism are youngish males who will at some point if they're lucky become "old white guys".


It's sad that society ended up like this because as far as crime and punishment for these types of crimes went, it's been one extreme to the other which means that in some cases William Shatner might actually be right.
