A year and a half after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's government came to office promising to tighten Canada's gun laws, there are now more than a million restricted and prohibited firearms across the country.
Thanks Bart, goin out to the range today with a couple of your AR 15's.
I enjoy the irony that an AR-15 is 'restricted', but a Ruger Mini that is the exact same weapon functionally, is not.
Our stupid gun laws at work. I have 4 Russian 7.62x39 SKS battle rifles that would do more damage than any 5.56x45 (.223) AR 15 variant. All are non-restricted and can be purchased at CT stores.

I bought 'a few' Chinese versions @ $200 each back in 94. You can rattle the rounds off as fast as as you can twitch your finger on the trigger. Great for gophers.
Why? You don't have one of those unregistered long guns? Let me make a few calls. I know a guy who knows a guy who knows someone who can hook you up with the right amount of firepower at the right price.
Damn it! THAT'S where I left them!!
My bad!

Your government discriminates against black guns but not brown ones.

The AR comes in only one colour.....BLACK! Whereas the Mini 14 may have a wood stock.....

Not all....There's a girl at the range with a pink one.
I may be in trouble.

Ah the great 5.56 vs 7.62 debate, still not settled more than 50yrs later!
NATO (i.e.American) orthodoxy states that 5.56 causes more damage because the round "tumbles" within the target whereas 7.62 goes through and through.
I believe even Russian standard issue AK is now 5.56.
Discuss!
