Did you recently watch Deep Impact? That was the movie that came to mind when I saw this thread.

I saw it last week (or week before) as it seemed that every similar doomsday-type movie was on TV one after another. A couple I'd forgotten all about until I saw they were on. LOL. Don't worry have contingency plans in place for every scenario.

Deep Impact was elitist, just like 2012 was. Anyone with money got saved, everyone else got left to die. Plutocrat bastards!

Yup. The Alexandria yuppies died first when the SHTF after Rick arrived. And Darryl had the joy of knowing all the country club types died horribly when he and Beth holed up in that golf course clubhouse for a few hours (in those stand-alone episodes after the prison fell).

Don't ever put me in charge, man. The first thing I'd do is end the war on drugs. The second thing I'd do is put all bankers on trial according to the Napoleonic system, i.e. they're presumed guilty and have to prove their innocence.

Alexandria is what will happen when it all goes to shit and if I was in charge I would build the wall also end the war on drugs, put an end to all Military interventions and boot the UN out of New York because they will never get their shit together.
