EyeBrock EyeBrock: Yogi Yogi: EyeBrock EyeBrock: So no first hand knowledge then yogi? Thought not. The only first-hand experience that I have had in a similar situation is actually looking down the barrel from the wrong end!At that point in time I had no doubt that the officer meant business. In the following melee, when we got into 'close contact" I still managed to get my skull brokenwith a baton! And what first handknowledge do you have in such matters, that makes you an authority??? 17 years in Policing. If in fact you are either an active or retired member of a recognized POLICE FORCE, licensed to carry a sidearm, and having done so for 17 years, then 'my hat is off to you' sir! That being the case then, I guess that my personal experiences as well as those told to me by a retired police officer as to what goes through an officers mind in split seconds when he was forced to use his weapon against some asshole, don't carry any weight here!

Tricks Tricks: acidcomplex acidcomplex: Brock get your head out of your ass, I have shot my guns many times, more then you have ever shot from your S&W 9mm or whatever else there issuing to you these days . Any officer that can not shoot someone in the leg (calf, quad, any part) from 20 feet away does not deserve to hold a gun Oh yeah, shooting someone in the thigh and hitting a major artery would do wonders. He'd bleed out in less than a few minutes you twit. Again, movies much? Oh i forgot everyone who gets shot in the leg dies. If he did die then he got shot for being stupid and died which would be fine. You guys seem to think i dont like the fact that the taser killed him which isnt true. I dont like the fact that there are many other "less lethal" options to use then a taser. I also find it funny that you folks think I'm 14 it makes me laugh

TattoodGirl TattoodGirl: This guy was highly agitated and sweating profusely, according to the article...Has anyone thought that he might have OD'd instead of dying by Taser? If he had there would be no discussion I would think

I don't have a license, we don't need them to carry on duty and yes, I don't take third party experiences as gospel, but I'm sure you mean well.

I don't take third party experiences as gospel, Sooo...if a woman who had experienced natural childbirth, while you watched, then 'told you' what it was like, you would not put much credence in her words? but I'm sure you mean well. Lastley; If you are not 'required to carry a sidearm' any experience that YOU HAVE in such matters is 'third party heresay' as well!
