And since we're on insults how about this. You my friend are nothing more than an over inflated ego with a penchant for school yard bullying who runs like a female dog when called out for being the hypocrite you really are. So, keep those insults coming because, if you don't like my posts your more than welcome to put me on your ignore list.
You really think I'm a bully and a hypocrite? I may be egotistical (I'm actually not really, but I get that my writing takes that tone), but I've never bullied anyone in my life and if you're going to call me a hypocrite, you'd better be able to back up that claim or take it back. Egotistical I may be, I'll give you that, but I'm damn sure not either of those other things.
And I never meant to insult you. You said "school yard bully". I meant to encourage you to make reasoned points. It's you that sounds like a school yard bully when you post like the post I'm currently calling you out for.

As for your claim that I didn't explain my point. Here it is in the shell. McCallum and Dion are considered Dinosaurs in the new sunny ways age and don't fit in with Trudeau's and his Chief advisers vision for Canada. Hence they're shuffled off to Buffalo.
But, as an aside there are actually some people saying that appointing Freeland is a sap to Trump which is something I seriously doubt because appointing a former economics journalist with contacts in the States who are likely other journalists to satisfy someone who despises the media likely isn't going to do anything but antagonise him even more. So if that's the intent then we're in big trouble because when you poke the dog you likely get bit.
Oh and by the way I have praised Trudeau but I'll keep on him like an andyt on a Harper if he doesn't do what's best for Canada with or without your approval.
Enough for you?
YES! Why didn't you just say that in the first place?
I agree with some of that. Dion was owed some political payback from Trudeau for the riding-thing that brought Mulcair into things and nearly cost Justin his riding and Dion's attempt to block Trudeau in his leadership bid. But I think the Freeland appointment makes a lot of sense. She's smart and qualified and cool-headed. I think that's who you want in a room with Trump and that theory of it antagonizing him is a stretch. If Trump actually took that view of it then fuck him. He'd need to be told he's a crazy person for making that leap and that Freeland was selected because she's qualified for the job. Which she is.
As for my first post it was just me being a smart ass but, I guess it didn't come off that way.
But I've been thinking about what you asked me and I came to the conclusion that Dion and McCallum were part of the Paul Martin balance the budget era and may have been trying to be the voices of reason when it came to spending and immigration in the new Gov't which when combined with their past histories didn't make them a good fit.
Although I seriously doubt we'll ever know the truth because all gov'ts while not having non disclosure clauses for elected officials per se do their best to avoid airing any of their backroom policies in public.
